About Jonathan…

Jonathan grew up moving all across the United States as the son of an Army chaplain. He graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2015 and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. He has been married to his lovely wife, Kate, since 2017. They have a son named Owen and a puppy named Beau.

What do you love about serving at Ridgewood?

I love being a part of a community that is intentional about serving and glorifying God and growing together as the body of Christ. I also love the opportunity to put my talents to use in serving the kingdom and our city.

What do you do when you are not serving?

When I’m not serving at Ridgewood I’m working at Parkside Pediatrics, lightsaber dueling with Owen, watching Netflix with my wife, playing video games, or two putting for a double (or triple) bogey at a golf course near you.

Favorite book?

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis

What is your claim to fame?

I once made President Joe Biden laugh.
