Kris Boland

About Kris…

Kris and Megan were married in 2011 and have a 6 year old daughter, Brennan, and a little boy, Kyler, on the way! Kris grew up in West Virginia and Megan grew up in Iowa before meeting each other at Bob Jones. Kris has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. Kris teaches 6th grade Science at Hughes Academy.

What do you love about serving at Ridgewood?

I love getting to love and serve our members and the community as we seek to reach Greer for Christ.

What do you do when you are not serving?

I try to stay active, spend time with my family, and hopefully play a few board games every now and again.

Favorite book?

Harry Potter and anything with a great story and fascinating characters especially if it is in the Fantasy genre.

What is your claim to fame?

I had the opportunity to meet celebrities when I was an extra in the movie Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1.
